The Spartans have hit hard times recently and their attendance has really suffered since the break.  They’ve needed exactly 5 loans in the past 2 games, which is 5 more than all of the other teams combined.  The doctor was called and a dose of John Altinian was prescribed.  John moves to Spartans effective this week and the first task will be to halt a 4 game losing streak.

This coup meant the D-Mentors are short a player.  They pulled a rabbit out of the hat and coaxed Sam Modarresi out of retirement.  Sam last played in the TCL in the 2014/15 season with the White Team and was instrumental in their mid-season turnaround.  He’ll suit up for D-Mentors this week.  They need to get the team going as they’ve only scored once in the past 3 games.
