A possible playoff preview is underway this week as Calaveras FC closes out their season against Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, The Gunners take on Real Deal on the adjacent pitch.

With Bayern Munich and Real Deal having first and second place respectively clinched (unless Real Deal can pull off a 30 goal win over The Gunners), it’s up to Calaveras FC and The Gunners to decide the playoff matches.

A Gunners win over Real Deal, or a Calaveras FC loss or tie, will give them third place and a showdown against Real Deal in the semi-finals. Calaveras FC will need to defeat Bayern Munich and have Real Deal tie or beat The Gunners to clinch third seed.

The playoffs will consist of a 2 leg semi-final followed by a 1 leg final.  With 2 games left in the regular season, the playoff picture is becoming more clear.

The race for first place is on, but what we know for sure is that Bayern Munich and Real Deal cannot face each other in the semi-finals.  These 2 teams can only finish in first or second place and they will play either Gunners or Calaveras.

The Battle for First

Bayern Munich and Real Deal are currently tied on points.  The first tie-breaker is goal difference and thanks to Ronalduy, BM easily have this.  It means that their destiny is in their own hands and if they win both matches they’ll secure first place.

Third Place Honours

The Gunners currently sit 4 points ahead of Calaveras in the battle for third place.  Calaveras has made it clear that they want to get out of the basement, where they’ve been all season.  The team has really turned it around and many consider them to be the team to beat in the playoffs.

This week Bayern Munich face the Gunners while Real Deal take on Calaveras.

After losing one of their biggest offensive threats, somebody will need to step into the shoes that Nasim Zoubeiri has left empty as Real Deal battles for first against Bayern Munich.

When it rains, it pours. Managing at least a point in all of their last three games, Calaveras FC carries their momentum into their week 21 against The Gunners who have lost all of their last four matches.

The Gunners have dropped three straight, going goalless in that span. Maybe a change of scenery is all they need as they move off of Mr Clean’s field and onto Real Deal’s. Meanwhile, Calaveras FC continues their late season charge against the German machine, Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich and The Gunners battle each other for second place in week 19 action. Continuing with their late season charge, Calaveras FC takes on a first place Real Deal.

It’s winner take all as Bayern Munich battles Real Deal for first place. On the other field, The Gunners take on The White Team as both teams try to shake off week 17 losses.

With the season two thirds over every week matters. Any of three teams could be atop the tables after this week. Bayern Munich will go for a win against the surging Calaveras FC while The Gunners will battle Real Deal for first place.

After fighting their way to the top of the table The Gunners were rocked with a 7-2 loss in week 14. They’ll try to rediscover their form against a struggling Bayern Munich squad. Real Deal retook their hold on first place in week 14, but will have to adjust to a new dynamic as Christine Zhu joins their squad. They’ll be taking on the reborn Hulkamaniacs in week 15 action.

Real Deal have finally lost their lead at the top of the table. But they’ll have a chance to take it back when they take on the league leading Gunners this week.

Hulkamaniacs are beginning to gel and look like a team reborn after several mid-year transfers. They’re coming off their first win since November and will fight hard to get themselves back into the mix against Bayern Munich.
