Championship

After a hard fought game, Real Deal took home the coveted trophy, defeating Calaveras FC in penalty kicks. Bayern Munich took third with a win over The Gunners.

Every team had their ups and downs this season. Bayern Munich overcame early season feuds to win the regular season title but had their playoffs cut short by a determined Calaveras squad. Calaveras FC showed brilliance in the second half of the season and came painfully close to a championship. The Gunners contested the Fall Champs title but could not overcome the loss of two players as their season and playoffs came to a stinging end. And Real Deal, who’s final game mirrored their season as they refused to quit when the odds were stacked against them, battled back from a two goal deficit and captured the title.

Congratulations to the winners of the Toronto Champions League! See you next season!

  1. Yeah it was a great season overall. Thanks especially to Ivan and Dave for organizing this year’s inaugural season. Looking forward to next year..

  2. Couldn’t’ ask for a better final. Congrat to RD. I heard they’ll be buying first round of drinks on Frid.
